Accessibility Statement

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. School Nest is a private service, not a public-sector body, but we use these guidelines as our standard.

The site has not yet had an independent accessibility audit, so we don't claim full compliance. From our own design and testing so far:

• pages are built to work on mobile and desktop and to zoom to 200% without losing content
• pages use headings, landmarks and labelled form fields for screen readers
• images published through School Nest require a text description
• we don't convert official grades into colours or symbols alone

Areas we know may still need work:

• some data tables and comparison views may be hard to use with small screens or screen readers
• some school-published content and photographs may lack good descriptions
• keyboard and screen-reader testing hasn't covered every dashboard screen

If something is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email hello@schoolnest.co.uk with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 working days.

We review accessibility as we build new features and will update this statement as we test and fix issues.
