School & Pro Subscription Terms

These terms are between Growforth Media Ltd (company number 16022328), which operates School Nest, and the school represented by the person accepting them. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Notice also apply.

By claiming a listing you confirm you are authorised by the school to manage its information on School Nest. We review every claim and may contact the school using its officially published details. We may refuse, pause or revoke a claim where authority is unclear, and a claim does not give access until approved.

The school's owner can invite colleagues. The school is responsible for who it invites, for removing people who leave, and for everything done through its accounts.

The school is responsible for the accuracy of the descriptions, admissions information, news, events, logos and photographs it publishes. When you publish content you confirm the school owns it or has permission to use it, and grant Growforth Media Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt for display (for example resizing) and promote it through School Nest for as long as it is published and for a reasonable time afterwards to remove it from caches and backups. Ownership stays with the school.

Images of people. You must have appropriate permission for any identifiable person in a photograph, and follow your school's safeguarding and consent policies for images of children. Don't publish children's names alongside their photographs.

News and events are reviewed before publication, and we may edit for formatting or decline to publish. Event information (dates, times, booking details) must be accurate and kept up to date. Parent enquiries are sent to your school's verified contacts; the school handles them as an independent controller and must use them only to respond to the family.

• content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory or discriminatory
• content that infringes someone else's rights, including images copied from other websites
• personal or sensitive information about pupils
• claims that misrepresent official data, such as altered inspection or performance results

We may remove content, pause publishing or suspend access where necessary. To report content, email hello@schoolnest.co.uk.

Free includes your listing, claiming, and managing your profile, logo, cover photo and contact details. Official information about your school is always shown free.

Pro adds parent enquiries, a photo gallery, School News, Open Days & Events and the AI Profile Assistant. Pro costs £19 a month or £190 a year. Growforth Media Ltd is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. We may change prices or features in future with reasonable notice; price changes apply from your next renewal.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled.
• Only the school's owner account can manage billing. You can cancel through Manage billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and Pro remains available until then.
• If a payment fails, Stripe will retry. Pro may remain available for a short period while payment is outstanding. If payment isn't recovered, the subscription ends and the school returns to Free.
• Payments already made are not refunded for partial periods, except where the law requires.

When Pro ends, Pro-only features stop. Existing gallery photos remain visible and can be removed, but new ones can't be added; published news and events may remain; enquiries stop being accepted. Free features continue.

We may grant Pro without charge on a complimentary basis. We can end complimentary access with reasonable notice.

We may suspend features or access where these terms are broken, where authority is in doubt, or to protect families. Suspension doesn't automatically cancel a subscription; we'll tell you what happens next. You can stop using School Nest and cancel at any time.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our total liability to a school in any 12 months is limited to the amount it paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or lost opportunities. School Nest does not guarantee any number of enquiries, visitors or admissions.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction.
